Calvin Klein Store Operations Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage all store personnel, product and merchandising functions, business processes and profitability metrics
• Deputize as Store Manager in the absence of the Store Manager
• Direct and motivate store team to deliver service in accordance with the Calvin Klein Customer Service program
• Drive sales and profit while minimizing losses and shrinkage
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store is impeccably presented and maintained
• Maximize employee productivity and ensure consistent execution of company standards, policies and procedures
• Develop employees individually and in partnership with the management team
• Utilize company tools and analytics to inform strategic business decisions and identify opportunities for growth
• Build partnerships with mall management, local community, and corporate stakeholders to drive traffic and sales
• Communicate key performance indicators and individual performance expectations through daily Take 5 meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions
• Train, coach, develop, and provide feedback to management and associates on an ongoing basis
• Conduct annual performance reviews and provide consistent, actionable feedback
• Recruit, hire, interview, and onboard new team members; maintain bench strength and succession planning
• Lead weekly management meetings and quarterly staff meetings
• Manage in-store orientation processes and ensure new employee training compliance
• Execute Direct Replenishment and Recovery processes effectively
• Monitor and manage customer complaints in a timely, professional manner
• Ensure store is stocked with all necessary operational tools, supplies, and resources
• Manage payroll, controllable expenses, and daily sales goals
• Attend corporate meetings and contribute to company growth and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience
• Must be interviewed and approved by District Manager and Regional Director
• Strong business acumen and results-oriented mindset
• Demonstrated ability to lead a sales-focused team to meet or exceed targets
• Proficiency with retail management tools and Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and coaching abilities
• Experience with cash register and point-of-sale systems
• Knowledge of visual merchandising and brand presentation standards

Skills

Experience

Minimum 1 year of management experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion or apparel retail. Candidates must have a proven track record of leading a team, meeting sales targets, and maintaining high service standards.

Education

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred. Working knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office and web-based platforms, is required.
