Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the store management team to build business opportunities and achieve company standards including sales and wage budgets, sales per hour, units per transaction, conversion rates, expense control, shrinkage, mystery shop results, store audits and profitability targets
- Identify growth opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally to improve performance and drive business expansion
- Foster a consistently positive store experience through fair and consistent treatment of customers and staff members
- Ensure 'door to floor' best practices, visual merchandising directives and standards are executed across the sales floor and back-of-house operations
- Communicate regularly with the buying team to ensure optimal stock levels and demographically appropriate inventory availability
- Analyze store-level reports and develop actionable plans to improve results
- Communicate daily with staff regarding individual sales goals, key performance indicators, store results, and product information to enable exceptional service delivery
- Manage manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding processes
- Provide structured training and coaching to employees and maintain appropriate documentation
- Lead weekly management meetings and regional meetings; contribute strategically to business discussions
- Make sound decisions under stressful and changing conditions based on available information
- Set challenging but attainable goals with emphasis on service quality, customer satisfaction and financial performance
- Coordinate action plans whilst managing budget implications and consequences
- Communicate clear ideas and goals, manage implementation and deliver measurable results

Qualifications
- Progressive retail management experience, preferably in premium or branded retail environments
- Proven store management experience in service or retail sector
- Extensive track record connecting with consumers in a brand retailer environment
- Strong background in retail operations, budgeting, planning and sales
- Demonstrated people management experience with capability to resolve conflict and drive productive outcomes
- Effective communicator with ability to foster belonging and psychological safety
- Collaborative leadership style with recognition of team contributions and achievements
- Comfort giving constructive feedback that promotes positive behavioral change
- Ability to adapt quickly and work with pace in evolving environments
- Energetic presence on the shop floor with ability to inspire trust
