Calvin Klein is hiring a Store Manager for its Kalverstraat store in Amsterdam, with a focus on commercial performance, operational standards, customer experience and team leadership. The role includes planning and recruitment, coaching, visual merchandising execution, inventory coordination and delivery against sales and profitability goals; it is full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the store management team to pursue business opportunities and achieve company standards and goals, including sales and wage budgets, sales per hour (SPH), units per transaction (UPT), conversion rate, wage and expense control, shrinkage, mystery shops, store audits and profitability.
- Identify opportunities and collaborate with others to grow the business or improve performance.
- Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff fairly and consistently.
- Ensure execution of door-to-floor best practices, visual merchandising directives, and sales-floor and back-room standards; review standards regularly to maintain clear, consistent execution.
- Communicate regularly with the buying team to ensure appropriate stock levels and demographic relevance.
- Analyze store-level reports and create action plans to improve results.
- Communicate daily with staff about individual sales goals, key performance indicators, store results, product sales and other information to support exceptional service and goal achievement.
- Manage manpower planning, candidate identification, recruitment, interviewing, hiring and orientation.
- Train and coach employees daily, weekly and monthly, and ensure training is documented appropriately.
- Lead weekly management and other staff meetings, and participate in and contribute to regional meetings.
- Make commitments and decisions based on available information, including under stressful and changing conditions.
- Set challenging but attainable goals focused on service quality, customer satisfaction and financial performance.
- Coordinate appropriate action plans while considering consequences and budget decisions.
- Communicate clear ideas and goals, manage their implementation, and deliver measurable, achievable results.

- Extensive experience connecting with consumers in a brand retailer.
- Previous experience in retail operations, budgeting, planning and sales.
