The Stockroom Specialist reports directly to store management and is responsible for managing merchandise flow within the retail environment. The role encompasses receiving and dispatching products, tracking shipments, coordinating internal stock transfers, quality control of incoming inventory, and optimizing product distribution across the sales floor to maximize sales while maintaining organized storage systems. The position supports sales staff in product replenishment across all sizes to ensure complete range availability.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive and dispatch products and supplies accurately, ensuring proper documentation and traceability
- Track shipments and coordinate internal stock transfers while resolving any delivery delays
- Verify quantity and quality of incoming merchandise upon receipt
- Process and distribute invoices within established timeframes
- Distribute products across the sales floor and manage returns to ensure all size ranges remain available for customers
