Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain seasonal brand planning summaries, establish product targets, and track variances against objectives
- Establish strategic forward-looking budgets aligned with organizational priorities and ensure financial system alignment
- Provide financial insights and analytics to product leadership, including the Chief Product Officer and Chief Design Officer, to drive informed decision-making
- Track and improve accuracy of SMS (Seasonal Merchandise Spend) expense projections and prepare seasonal SMS budgets for global teams
- Support implementation of global brand planning processes from category kick-off through sell-out across all regions
- Track margin development from range planning to order shipment by region, channel, and product category, performing gap analysis against targets
- Conduct ad hoc strategic analysis on business opportunities including licensing take-backs, new product initiatives, and pricing architecture
- Prepare financial reports on SMS, liabilities, and product KPIs ahead of financial closings
- Develop reporting and communication frameworks for global product leadership and senior management on actual results, estimates, and budget variances
- Monitor adherence to financial policies and ensure accuracy and timeliness of operating results reporting
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements in financial processes through dashboards and automated reporting
- Support budget processes for cost centers within the CK Global team scope
- Partner with regional Brand Finance teams to translate global strategic decisions into local actionable initiatives
- Manage business risk to protect divisional assets and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of financial management and accounting experience
- Global financial experience strongly recommended
- Bachelor's degree in Business Finance or Accounting
- Expert-level financial analysis with proven ability to manage large datasets and solve complex problems
- Proficiency in financial scenario planning and building financial models
- Strong budgeting and forecasting capabilities
- Understanding of fashion industry dynamics, including market trends, consumer behavior, competition, and supply chain operations
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate financial insights into actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated project management experience and ability to drive initiatives with multiple stakeholders
- Adaptability and creative problem-solving approach suited to the evolving fashion industry
- Business fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of SAP financial packages (General Ledger module)
- Knowledge of Essbase software for financial reporting
