Calvin Klein seeks a Senior Director of Finance in New York to lead global marketing finance strategy, budget management, and financial advisory.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as financial advisor and strategic business partner to global Calvin Klein senior marketing management teams, providing insight and recommendations to drive fact-based decision-making and participate in development of business strategies
- Supervise and drive financial business planning, budget management, and tracking to achieve financial targets and align with the brand's strategic initiatives
- Coordinate and streamline processes and procedures across global and regional marketing and brand finance teams to enhance operational efficiency
- Lead yearly planning initiatives in partnership with global CK senior marketing management, including strategic planning, priority setting, target setting, and annual budget development with three-year forecasts
- Conduct periodic financial reviews, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, forecasting, and management of all global marketing costs
- Provide regular cost control meetings and business partnering based on actuals, estimates, and budget variances with senior global marketing and brand organization
- Identify opportunities to maximize revenue through competitive landscape analysis and business trend evaluation; make strategic recommendations for optimal future business growth
- Oversee financial planning and cost management of global Calvin Klein marketing budget cost centers, leading all financial tasks including investment and recruiting requests
- Drive fact-based decision-making processes by creating transparency on key performance indicators with respect to marketing investments for both global and regional levels
- Oversee preparation of financial reports, expense planning and control, and capital expenditure planning and compliance
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of operating results; ensure integrity of financial policies and statements
- Work closely with global finance leadership in the operations of international offices to maintain consistent financial standards and processes
- Attract, retain, and develop a high-performing finance team; provide leadership, mentorship, and training to define standards, processes, and procedures within the finance and marketing departments
Qualifications
- 11+ years of financial management and accounting experience
- Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience
- Global financial experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Finance or Accounting
- MBA or CPA preferred
- Ability to think and act strategically and develop operational and strategic plans
- Ability to translate strategic vision into operational improvements
- Ability to operate cross-functionally with understanding of external business drivers
- Ability to navigate matrix environments effectively
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to manage large data quantities from multiple sources
- Strong relationship building skills at all levels
- Excellent communication skills for persuasion and influencing others internally and externally

Experience
11+ years of financial management and accounting experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity. Demonstrated experience in global financial operations and strategic finance advisory roles within large, complex organizations. Proven track record of leading financial teams, managing multi-million dollar budgets, and driving fact-based business decisions in marketing and brand operations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Finance or Accounting required. MBA or CPA certification is recommended.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 164,100 to USD 221,400 per annum.
