Calvin Klein is seeking a Retail Supervisor for its Ashford outlet to support store management, lead the shop floor, drive sales and service standards, and develop the team. The role is full-time.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient operation of the shop floor to achieve high levels of customer service, sales and profit.
  • Support the management team in managing personnel, product and merchandising functions, business processes and store results.
  • Participate in weekly management and other staff meetings.
  • Communicate marketing and sales promotions clearly to staff.
  • Drive shop-floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team while delivering an exemplary customer journey.
  • Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and colleagues fairly and consistently.
  • Support delivery of the business strategy and ensure consistent training in product knowledge and store maintenance.
  • Meet company standards and goals for personal sales results, including sales versus budget, sales per hour and units per transaction.
  • Perform manager-on-duty duties, including store opening and closing and management of the sales floor.
  • Emphasise the importance of quality relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Hold staff accountable for building a repeat customer base through spirited, unparalleled service.
  • Ensure visual merchandising directives and “door to floor” best practices are implemented on the sales floor and in the back room, reviewing them regularly for consistency.
  • Work with the management team to build a talent pool for key positions, including potential successors.

Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or specialist experience within a premium or luxury brand.
  • Previous people-management experience, including the ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships easily.
  • A team-oriented approach that recognises and celebrates others’ contributions and achievements.
  • Confidence in giving feedback that promotes positive behavioural change.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and work at pace.
  • Energetic, authentic presence on the shop floor.
  • A can-do approach and initiative in finding in-store solutions.
