Calvin Klein seeks an experienced Merchandiser for Denim in Hong Kong to manage sample and bulk orders, vendor coordination, and supply chain execution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Communicate with vendors and business counterparts for sample and bulk order execution
- Execute production according to agreed product and service standards and cost objectives
- Negotiate prices and manage cost expectations with suppliers
- Conduct cost analysis and troubleshoot cost-related issues
- Manage sample and bulk production delivery schedules and monitor against plan
- Manage work-in-progress (WIP) inventory
- Oversee timeline management from product development through to bulk shipment
- Ensure garment integrity, style consistency, and accurate product execution
- Compile operational and performance reports for management review
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on processes and standards
- Support supervisor in achieving key performance indicators
Qualifications
- University degree in Textiles, Clothing, Fashion, or equivalent with minimum 5 years of related apparel experience; or post-secondary degree with minimum 8 years of related apparel and materials experience
- Demonstrated experience working in an apparel buying or trading office environment
- Solid product knowledge in women's soft woven, with men's woven experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of the supply chain from concept to consumer
- Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and vendor management experience
- Proficiency in English and local language (Cantonese), both verbal and written
- Strong data management and computer skills

Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in apparel buying, merchandising, or trading office operations, with demonstrated expertise in denim or woven apparel categories. Prior experience in sample coordination, bulk order management, and vendor liaison roles required.
Education
University degree in Textiles, Clothing, Fashion, or equivalent discipline; or post-secondary qualification with extended industry experience.
