Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with apparel and graphic design teams to create sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings for Cut & Sew Knits and Graphics collections, ensuring design cohesion between garment silhouettes and graphic applications
- Assist in building comprehensive tech packs, bills of materials (BOMs), and design specifications for Cut & Sew Knits and Graphic prototypes through SMS and production stages
- Participate in fit sessions and sample reviews; document detailed notes and update construction sketches to reflect revisions, ensuring alignment between original design intent and final product execution
- Uphold the brand's design language and aesthetic across all Cut & Sew Knits and Graphic products, partnering with marketing and brand teams to ensure storytelling and branding consistency
- Conduct trend and market research to inform seasonal collection development and maintain competitive positioning
- Execute daily decision-making regarding colorways, fabric and trims, graphic applications, and fit direction to support brand strategy and product performance
- Manage design archives, sample inventory, and line sheet creation while maintaining organization and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–4 years of relevant apparel or graphic design experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with PLM systems, preferably Centric, for managing tech packs and BOMs
- Strong hand and digital sketching ability
- Thorough understanding of garment construction and graphic design techniques
- Demonstrated eye for color, fabric, trend, and silhouette
Skills
Experience
3–4 years of apparel design or graphic design in a commercial or fashion-forward environment. Experience in menswear or cut-and-sew knit categories is advantageous. Familiarity with the full product development lifecycle from concept through production is expected.
Education
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience demonstrating design competency.
