Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist Design Director in interpreting seasonal concepts, color palettes, and key item direction aligned with global EU design guidance and North America market specifications
  • Create and illustrate cohesive product groups incorporating novelty designs with proficient understanding of color theory, materials, garment construction and brand identity
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners to obtain original samples, artwork, and cost information; refine designs to meet aesthetic and margin objectives
  • Develop detailed technical drawings for tech packs, ensure data accuracy in Bills of Materials within Centric PLM, and manage ongoing updates and vendor communication
  • Attend and contribute to fittings; collaborate with Technical Design to confirm fit intent and construction quality standards
  • Review and approve lab dips, handlooms, wash panels and pre-production samples, including additional colorways
  • Participate in development and post-prototype meetings to document, communicate, and action feedback across teams
  • Manage library of artwork updates and CAD files to ensure style and color accuracy across systems and presentations
  • Prepare and present design boards and product reviews to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment on calendar milestones and proactively resolve potential delays

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of professional outerwear design experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts or Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent professional credential
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Web PDM/PLM systems
  • Proficiency with Miro and collaborative design tools
  • Demonstrated understanding of garment construction, materials science, and color theory
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently within cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to directional and practical changes in a fast-paced environment
