As an Assistant Store Manager at Calvin Klein, the incumbent will support the Store Manager in driving operational excellence and team performance within a retail environment. Responsibilities encompass consumer engagement through customer service and coaching, operational oversight including merchandising execution and inventory management, and people leadership through recruitment, performance management, and team development. Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide real-time coaching to sales team members on service delivery
- Build and maintain deep product and promotional knowledge to drive customer loyalty and sales
- Partner with Store Manager to uphold brand service standards and maintain customer-first mindset
- Lead merchandising execution and utilize sales insights to optimize floor layout and product placement
- Ensure compliance with store policies, inventory controls, and loss prevention practices
- Create staff schedules aligned with business requirements and monitor expense and inventory outcomes
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor team members; support succession planning and performance evaluations
- Motivate and recognize team members to foster a high-performing, inclusive environment
- Model professionalism, brand behaviors, and respect to establish trust with associates
- Foster collaboration and continuous learning across the team
- Support company initiatives and contribute strategic insights to store planning
- Assume full operational and team leadership when Store Manager is absent
