Calvin Klein Jeans seeks Assistant Store Manager for Lelystad Outlet in Netherlands—lead store operations, drive sales, and manage team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store teams to generate sales and profit whilst minimizing losses and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for sales floor and back room
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication and understanding
- Partner with store management to identify business opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives
- Build quality customer relationships and ensure accountability in repeat customer base development
- Conduct daily and weekly store walkthroughs to evaluate product performance, pricing, service levels and inventory
- Communicate sales drivers and business priorities to the Store Manager to develop performance-maximizing strategies
- Analyze store-level reports and create action plans to improve results
- Support manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes
- Work with the Store Manager to build bench strength for key positions including possible successors
- Participate in weekly management and staff meetings
- Communicate store and individual sales goals and key performance expectations to staff
- Provide guidance on performance improvement and deliver exceptional mystery shop results
Qualifications
- Track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand
- Previous people management experience
- Proven ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to recognize and celebrate team contributions and achievements
- Proven feedback and coaching capabilities that promote positive behavioral change
- Strong presence on the shop floor with the ability to inspire trust
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make informed decisions for in-store solutions
