Calvin Klein Jeans seeks an experienced Assistant Store Manager for its Lelystad Outlet location to lead store operations, drive sales performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role involves team supervision, visual merchandising coordination, business analysis, staff recruitment and development, and mystery shop excellence—requiring proven supervisory experience in premium retail and demonstrated brand affinity.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store teams to generate sales and profit whilst minimizing losses and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for sales floor and back room
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication and understanding
- Partner with store management to identify business opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives
- Build quality customer relationships and ensure accountability in repeat customer base development
- Conduct daily and weekly store walkthroughs to evaluate product performance, pricing, service levels and inventory
- Communicate sales drivers and business priorities to the Store Manager to develop performance-maximizing strategies
- Analyze store-level reports and create action plans to improve results
- Support manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes
- Work with the Store Manager to build bench strength for key positions including possible successors
- Participate in weekly management and staff meetings
- Communicate store and individual sales goals and key performance expectations to staff
- Provide guidance on performance improvement and deliver exceptional mystery shop results
Qualifications
- Track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand
- Previous people management experience
- Proven ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to recognize and celebrate team contributions and achievements
- Proven feedback and coaching capabilities that promote positive behavioral change
- Strong presence on the shop floor with the ability to inspire trust
