The role combines team leadership, sales optimization, and operational excellence, requiring the candidate to drive store performance, maintain visual merchandising standards, and develop retail personnel. This full-time position reports to the Store Manager and serves as a key liaison between corporate merchandising directives and on-floor execution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store teams to generate sales and profit while minimizing losses and creating exceptional customer experiences
- Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards across sales floor and back room
- Conduct daily and weekly store walkthroughs to evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels, and inventory
- Analyze store-level reports and develop action plans to improve financial and operational results
- Partner with visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication and alignment between VM and store operations
- Assist with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of store personnel
- Build bench strength for key positions, including identification of potential successors
- Clearly communicate store and individual sales goals, performance expectations, and results guidance to staff
- Participate in weekly management and staff meetings
- Deliver exemplary customer journeys and achieve high mystery shop scores
- Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to improve overall business performance
Qualifications
