Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct research on silhouettes and techniques in collaboration with design team members; develop concepts through swatch development and silhouette exploration aligned with global creative direction
- Execute swatch development in Adobe Illustrator based on global concepts and design research under the guidance of senior designers
- Manage style development from initial sketching through tech pack creation and handoff to technical design teams; update all sketches and technical packs following design revisions and post-fitting adjustments
- Create and maintain technical packs and bills of materials using Adobe Illustrator and Centric PLM software
- Assist with CAD development each season and coordinate with technical design during the fitting process
- Document fitting sessions with technical teams and revise tech packs and bills of materials accordingly following each fitting
- Establish and maintain seasonal yarn boards for presentations; manage storage and organization of seasonal knitdowns between seasons
- Organize, price, and maintain the yarn library while managing samples from vendors and archived materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Arts, or related field
- 1–2 years of professional design experience, preferably in knitwear
- Demonstrated knowledge of knitwear construction, gauge, and basic knit stitches
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to create hand sketches and computer sketches using Illustrator or Procreate
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities across multiple concurrent seasons and projects
- Excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
