Byredo seeks a Store Design Project Manager in Paris to lead retail fit-outs and uphold brand design standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end store design and fit-out projects across concept, technical development, procurement, construction and handover phases.
  • Translate brand design standards into technical documentation and construction drawings; ensure consistency across global touchpoints.
  • Manage budgets, schedules and project reporting; proactively mitigate risks to deliver on time and on budget.
  • Coordinate and supervise external consultants, architects, interior designers, contractors and suppliers throughout delivery.
  • Develop and manage FF&E and materials specifications, sourcing and procurement processes to align with quality and cost targets.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control visits; oversee shopfitting, MEP integration and final snagging.
  • Ensure compliance with local building regulations, health & safety standards and accessibility requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising and Global Creative teams to align design solutions with commercial needs.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Construction Management or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple retail store design or fit-out projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated budgetary and contract management skills.
  • Ability to produce and review technical drawings and construction documentation.
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder-management capabilities; comfortable working with cross-functional international teams.

Experience
