Byredo seeks a Client Advisor in Bicester, Oxfordshire — permanent retail role delivering luxury fragrance and beauty client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, bespoke customer service and curated product recommendations to a discerning clientele in-store.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through active selling, upselling and thoughtful clienteling.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients via follow-up, appointment management and CRM records to drive repeat business.
- Maintain deep product knowledge across fragrance, makeup and skincare ranges and communicate brand heritage and technical details confidently.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, handle transactions and cash reconciliations with accuracy and discretion.
- Support visual merchandising standards, inventory management, stock replenishment and receiving procedures to preserve the brand presentation.
- Participate in store events, launches and targeted promotions; collaborate with the store team to ensure seamless execution.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable retail experience in luxury beauty, fragrance or cosmetics (commonly 1–2 years) with a proven sales record.
- Exceptional interpersonal and consultative selling skills with an emphasis on client retention.
- Impeccable grooming, professional presentation and an aptitude for representing a premium lifestyle brand.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and peak trading periods.
- Right to work in the UK and ability to travel locally as required.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–2 years of customer-facing experience in luxury retail, beauty or fragrance; direct experience with premium fragrance or cosmetics brands is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in beauty or retail is advantageous but not required.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Bicester, England, UK, with easy access to Oxford.
