Byredo seeks a Client Advisor for its KaDeWe boutique in Berlin — deliver luxury fragrance and beauty client service and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service and create memorable in‑store experiences for Byredo customers at the KaDeWe boutique.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through active selling, product demonstrations and upselling complementary fragrance and beauty items.
- Develop and maintain client relationships using clienteling practices and Byredo’s CRM processes to drive repeat business and loyalty.
- Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge across fragrances, candles and beauty ranges; conduct consultations and scent profiling.
- Operate the point‑of‑sale system, process transactions and manage cash handling and end‑of‑day reconciliation in accordance with store procedures.
- Support visual merchandising standards, stock management, receiving and replenishment to ensure boutique presentation and inventory accuracy.
- Contribute to store events, launches and promotions; liaise with store leadership to implement marketing initiatives and local activations.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience in luxury fragrance, beauty or premium cosmetics (preferably 1–3 years).
- Fluent spoken German and strong command of English to engage local and international clients.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and execute consultative selling in a boutique environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished, client‑facing manner.
- Right to work in Germany and availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Preferably 1–3 years of retail experience within luxury fragrance, beauty or premium cosmetics; demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, cosmetics or hospitality advantageous.
