Role & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with trim vendors, developing a clear understanding of capabilities, capacity and delivery timelines
- Lead seasonal trim research and present new concepts that align with design direction and brand standards
- Define and manage the trim development critical path, ensuring milestones are met and risks are proactively addressed
- Oversee sourcing, ordering and delivery of trims, ensuring quality, cost and timing targets are achieved
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Product Development and Engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and support product testing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within PLM systems, ensuring consistency and transparency throughout development
Qualifications
- Proven experience in trim or accessories development within luxury fashion or apparel manufacturing
- Strong understanding of trim materials, construction methods and application across garment categories
- Demonstrated vendor management and procurement experience
- Technical proficiency with PLM systems and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of fabrics, raw materials, garment construction and leather a strong asset
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in trim development, accessories sourcing or product engineering within the luxury fashion, apparel or accessories sector, with demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects and vendor relationships.
Education
Secondary education required; degree or professional qualification in Fashion, Product Design, Materials Science, Engineering or equivalent discipline preferred.
