Burberry seeks an experienced Team Manager for its Rome La Rinascente Tritone store to lead retail operations and drive sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with store management to enhance sales performance, achieve goals consistently, and identify strategies to exceed performance standards
- Analyse store performance metrics and KPIs, reporting business trends and competitor performance to drive further business growth
- Lead and support all activities to achieve store objectives while building familiarity with the local external environment, including customers, personal shoppers, competitors, and local events
- Lead a high-performing, customer-facing, service-oriented team by setting performance targets and driving productivity
- Serve as brand ambassador and specialist for all product categories, demonstrating passion for Burberry and strong product knowledge
- Act as a role model in delivering exceptional client experience, developing long-term relationships with top clients through active shop-floor engagement
- Monitor and manage CRM database reporting to execute company initiatives, capture meaningful customer data, and drive eloquent client outreach
- Ensure all team members possess sound product knowledge and awareness of company policies, providing coaching and performance feedback
- Take accountability for commercial training execution and cascade training materials to drive key strategic pillars
- Cultivate customer relationships to create loyal brand advocates and leverage the team to achieve high-quality customer profile capture
- Develop and retain talented employees through recognition, recurrent development plans, and annual performance reviews
- Identify competency gaps and create tailored development and action plans for all employees in accordance with store management
- Oversee shop-floor operations to ensure smooth collaboration between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
- Ensure coordination of FOH and BOH activities according to store management guidelines, meeting qualitative and quantitative results
- Oversee processing of incoming and outbound merchandise requests, shipments, alteration logs, transfers, and repairs
- Ensure store compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping and retail presentation
- Maintain visibility of store expenses and operating budget whilst aiming to reduce overall costs
- Participate in or lead daily store meetings to communicate business trends, relay updates, and motivate the team
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Team Manager or equivalent role within luxury retail
- Demonstrated ability to drive departmental sales and profitability whilst maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Strong commercial awareness with exposure to sales-related KPIs and performance metrics
- In-depth understanding of client expectations and luxury service standards
- Excellent leadership and people management capabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with flexibility and adaptability to change
- Genuine passion for fashion, styling, and product excellence
- Advanced proficiency with POS systems, store management systems, and digital tools
- Sound knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Experience managing CRM systems and customer relationship initiatives
