Burberry Team Manager role in London, Heathrow T5. Lead sales teams, drive category performance, and deliver luxury retail excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead sales associates to improve selling skills and achieve sales goals and KPIs
- Drive sales performance for assigned categories in partnership with Store Manager
- Lead a customer-facing, service-oriented team and deliver the full Burberry Experience in line with brand strategies
- Manage customer flow to ensure excellent service and no client is left unattended
- Provide real-time coaching and feedback to associates following each transaction and client interaction
- Develop and retain talented employees through recognition, monthly development plans, and annual performance reviews
- Lead the integration and onboarding of new team members
- Deliver the Burberry Experience to customers when required
- Own responsibility for Burberry Experience training within the store, using team meetings to reinforce key elements
- Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when necessary
- In the Store Manager's absence, process post-void transactions, authorise promotional discounts, and manage employee sales
- Drive the digital in-store experience and use digital resources for communication
- Maintain thorough understanding of company policies and procedures and enforce guidelines consistently
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including security and POS processes
- Create and maintain an open, positive work environment
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of previous supervisory or management experience in retail sales
- Advanced knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to handle complex customer service issues including dissatisfied customers, complaints, returns, repairs, and after-sales
- Fluent and professional communication skills with clients and staff
- Experience with Apple mobile devices and comfort with digital tools

Experience
1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales required. Demonstrated track record of leading high-performing teams, driving sales targets, and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a luxury retail environment preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in retail management, hospitality, or business administration preferred.
