Burberry seeks a Team Manager for its Regent Street flagship in London to lead sales teams, drive KPIs and deliver the Burberry Experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in driving category performance and achieving sales KPIs through direct supervision of the sales team.
  • Lead, coach and develop sales associates to elevate selling skills, close sales and deliver the Burberry Experience.
  • Drive sell-through for assigned categories, partnering with the Store Manager on assortment, visual priorities and in-store activations.
  • Manage customer flow to ensure every client receives attentive, high-standard service and that no customer is left unattended.
  • Provide real-time, transaction-level coaching and structured follow-up to embed behavioural and performance improvements.
  • Lead onboarding and integration of new joiners and sustain continuous training through morning and weekly meetings and role-play.
  • Resolve complex customer service issues, manage escalations and administer post-void transactions, promotional discounts and employee sales when required.
  • Champion the in-store digital experience and use mobile/digital tools to service clients and communicate with colleagues.
  • Foster collaboration between sales, specialist, stock and operations teams to optimise customer experience and store efficiency.
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures, secure merchandise and ensure compliance with company policies and loss-prevention protocols.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years' supervisory or management experience in retail sales, ideally within luxury or premium retail.
  • Advanced knowledge of POS systems and transactional procedures.
  • Proven ability to handle complex customer-service issues including returns, repairs and after-sales follow-up.
  • Comfortable using Apple mobile devices and other digital retail tools for clienteling and store operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, client-focused demeanour.

Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or team-leading experience in retail sales, with demonstrable success in coaching teams, improving KPIs and managing complex customer interactions.
