Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate sales associates to deliver high-value customer experiences; act as quality control to ensure every client interaction is memorable
  • Partner with associates to improve selling skills and close sales in order to achieve sales goals and KPIs
  • Lead a customer-facing, service-oriented team and provide real-time coaching and feedback to ensure consistent delivery of the Burberry Experience
  • Manage customer flow to ensure optimal service and prevent clients from being left unattended
  • Drive partnership and collaboration among sales associates, specialists, stock associates, and operations team on the selling floor
  • Coach associates in the moment and after each transaction, discussing successes and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and retain talented employees through recognition, reward programs, monthly development plans, and annual performance reviews
  • Lead by example by delivering the Burberry Experience directly to customers when necessary
  • Partner with store management on Burberry Experience training; use morning and weekly meetings to reinforce key elements through role-play and peer discussion
  • Deliver formal performance feedback in partnership with store management through monthly Burberry Experience Development Plans
  • Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when appropriate
  • In the absence of store management, process post-void transactions, authorize promotional discounts, and process employee sales
  • Drive the digital experience in-store and use digital resources for communication when face-to-face engagement is not possible
  • Maintain thorough understanding of business performance and communicate ideas to advance business outcomes
  • Ensure consistent adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including securing merchandise, alarming systems, and POS reconciliation
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales
  • Advanced knowledge of POS systems
  • Proficiency with Apple mobile devices and digital tools
  • Strong team leadership and motivational capabilities
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
  • Customer service excellence and brand representation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance and KPI achievement
