Burberry seeks a Styling Assistant in London to support digital shoots across all product categories. E-commerce experience and studio expertise required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide styling support to in-house and freelance stylists across all product categories (Womenswear, Menswear, Accessories, Childrenswear) for model and still-life shoots
- Attend all set briefings, prepare and organize daily product rails, and ensure all relevant inventory is ready and available for efficient shooting
- Cross-reference daily set lists against physical product rails, flagging and resolving discrepancies (missing samples, incorrect items, damaged goods) with the Studio Production team
- Coordinate with the Digital Samples team to verify set lists match product rails and ensure accurate internal system documentation, including notation of missing items and priority requirements
- Communicate workflow status, concerns, and set progress throughout the day with the Studio Production Assistant
- Source required products from the Digital Samples team and archival cupboards, managing the movement of shared inventory across multiple concurrent sets
- Input all relevant set information into the in-house operating system, maintaining accurate records of product placement and underpinnings
- Direct and assist models in dressing and undressing according to stylist instructions
- Conduct post-shoot quality assurance on all products, verifying presentation and condition match original delivery state and tagging
- Maintain organized studio spaces, sets, props, styling materials, and equipment cupboards throughout the day, including end-of-day cleanup
- Proactively manage workflow timelines and support peers during high-volume production periods
- Assist stylists and the styling editor on ancillary projects including lookbook initiatives, shoot preparation, research, presentations, and styling guidelines
- Provide styling support to the Brand styling team across peak periods, including Runway, commercial, and editorial projects
- Support wider business initiatives such as PR capture, virtual showroom projects, and seasonal cataloguing
Qualifications
- E-commerce experience (essential)
- Experience working in fast-paced studio environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of womenswear and menswear product (preferred)
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with internal operating systems and digital workflow tools

Experience working in a fast-paced studio environment is essential. Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with e-commerce production pipelines and ideally have prior exposure to both womenswear and menswear styling workflows. Prior experience supporting stylists on commercial or editorial shoots is advantageous.
