Role & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day studio operations to ensure a productive, safe and well-resourced creative environment for design teams and senior leadership.
- Administer research sample programmes across categories, including rental vendor relationships, international and UK shipping coordination, purchases, categorisation and archiving within HFH.
- Oversee budget control for the Design Studio and multiple design teams, approving T&E, tracking expenditures and partnering with Finance to monitor spend through the financial year.
- Coordinate archive loans with external PD vendors (Italy), manage associated paperwork, shipping, internal tracking and timely returns to minimise rental fees.
- Act as primary liaison with in-house services (WPS, IT) for product movement, furniture and equipment set-up/removal, IT access and ticket resolution.
- Manage new-starter onboarding logistics: building access, IT equipment provisioning, welcome guides and orientation tours.
- Support freelancer resourcing: job postings, onboarding, contract extensions, tax assessments and weekly timesheet approvals.
- Provide operational and logistical support to senior leadership, including meeting and workspace setup, layout planning and event coordination.
- Collaborate with Production for shows and lookbooks: crew booking, furniture hires, catering, backstage lists, show-day coordination and dresser management.
- Maintain studio administrative systems and records; travel domestically and internationally as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion, design, marketing or a related creative discipline.
- Proven experience working within a design or creative studio environment.
- Demonstrable track record of proactive budget monitoring and cost control in a fast-paced creative setting.
- Strong organisational capability with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and adapt quickly under shifting deadlines.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, shipments and archive logistics.
