Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for the store, establishing and maintaining excellent operational and commercial standards while inspiring the team to meet and exceed them
  • Own the employee experience by driving team satisfaction, elevating behaviours aligned with Burberry values, and fostering a learning culture

  • Establish a constant focus on brand engagement, driving brand knowledge and passion throughout the store team
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing store team through recruitment, development, mobility, and succession planning
  • Monitor, coach, and provide feedback to the team to deliver excellent customer service and maintain luxury standards
  • Maintain a luxury retail environment by ensuring Visual Merchandising guidelines are executed and maintained to the highest standard
  • Drive the use of digital assets and social media to enhance customer experience and engagement
  • Develop and maintain excellent product knowledge across the team and optimize sales of available inventory
  • Build and cultivate long-term customer relationships and lead the team to do the same
  • Drive store performance and productivity by maintaining commercial awareness and identifying opportunities to convert sales
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate standards, policies, and initiatives
  • Maintain familiarity with the local external environment, including customers, competitors, and talent markets
  • Develop and maintain emergency evacuation procedures and ensure annual drills are completed and recorded

Qualifications

  • Proven retail management experience in a luxury brand or luxury service and selling environment

  • Proficiency in local language plus English
