Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare points of sale and maintain store readiness for trading.
  • Process and report daily banking and manage interactions with external cash collection partners.
  • Perform daily safe checks, maintain change levels and manage cash-handling controls.
  • Run daily operational reports, investigate variances and update the store variance report for payroll.
  • Maintain and update in-store employee records weekly (absences, holidays, sickness and other changes).
  • Liaise with HR to submit accurate documentation for new starters, leavers and contractual or personal changes.
  • Raise purchase orders and manage ad hoc procurement for store supplies.
  • Provide general administration support including telephone handling, customer service liaison and stationery orders.
  • Support store management with rostering and other operational tasks as required to ensure payroll deadlines are met.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable previous administration experience within a retail environment.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in-store preferred.
  • Proven experience with cash handling and daily banking processes.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal teams and external providers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is desirable.

Experience
