Burberry Store Operations Assistant role in Mexico City. Manage inventory, stock receiving, and back-of-house operations in a luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of inventory control, including receiving and processing stock orders from hubs or warehouses, verifying product accuracy, and reporting discrepancies
- Support the sales team with timely stock retrieval for both in-store and omnichannel orders, including stock pullback and allocation
- Maintain the back-of-house environment in compliance with Burberry Retail Operations Standards, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Perform quality control inspections on all merchandise and escalate issues to store management
- Coordinate and support after-sales services including alterations, repairs, and personalization to enhance client experience
- Monitor stockroom equipment functionality and raise maintenance concerns through appropriate channels
- Execute ad hoc administrative tasks including telephone management, customer service liaison, supply ordering, and general office support
- Assist store management with events, visual merchandising initiatives, stock takes, and other ad hoc operational duties as required
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Intermediate proficiency in core Microsoft Office applications
- Prior experience with SAP systems preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy retail environment
Skills
Experience
Experience in retail operations, warehouse management, or back-of-house retail environments is advantageous. Familiarity with luxury retail standards and SAP systems is desirable.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; further retail or operations-focused training is a plus.
