Burberry Store Operations Assistant in London – manage inventory, stock handling, and back-of-house operations at a luxury flagship store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of inventory control including receiving and handling stock orders from hubs or warehouses, ensuring accuracy of received products and reporting discrepancies immediately
- Support the sales team by retrieving stock in a timely manner, including Omnichannel fulfillment and stock pullback operations
- Maintain back-of-house organization and cleanliness in compliance with Retail Operations and brand standards
- Conduct quality control inspections on all products and report any issues to store management
- Support after-sales services including alterations, repairs, and personalization to enhance the client experience
- Ensure all stockroom equipment remains operational and functional, escalating maintenance concerns promptly
- Perform administrative duties including telephone support, customer service liaison, stationery and supply ordering, and general office tasks
- Assist store management with special events, visual merchandising initiatives, stock-taking, and other ad-hoc operational requirements
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team structure
- Capability to perform effectively in a busy, dynamic retail environment
- Experience with SAP systems desirable but not essential

Experience in retail operations, inventory management, or warehouse logistics is expected. Familiarity with luxury retail or fast-paced retail environments would be advantageous.

Secondary education or equivalent; relevant retail or logistics qualification desirable but not essential.
