Burberry seeks a Store Manager to lead store operations, develop a high-performing team, elevate the customer experience and drive commercial results. Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the store, set high standards and inspire the team to achieve them.
- Own the employee experience by driving satisfaction and elevating team behaviours.
- Own the customer experience by driving satisfaction and increasing brand loyalty.
- Drive performance and growth through strong operational and commercial execution.
- Maintain a constant focus on Burberry, building brand engagement, knowledge and passion across the store team.
- Remain present on the shop floor, lead by example as a brand ambassador and model Burberry behaviours.
- Monitor, coach and provide feedback to the store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Maintain a luxury environment and ensure visual merchandising guidelines are executed and maintained throughout the store.
- Drive the use of digital assets to enhance the customer experience.
- Retain and develop talent; lead, inspire and manage a high-performing, positive store team.
- Elevate team capability through recruitment, staff development, mobility and effective succession planning.
- Establish a learning culture and maintain the store team's strong connection to the brand.
- Advocate for the product, demonstrate excellent product knowledge and drive the same standard across the team.
- Understand product sales performance and optimise sales of available inventory.
- Establish customer-focused behaviours across the store team; build long-term customer relationships and lead the team to do the same.
- Drive store performance and productivity.
- Maintain familiarity with the local external environment, including customers, competitors and talent.
- Maintain a commercial mindset and identify and convert opportunities to improve store performance.
- Drive operational excellence across all areas of the store.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards, policies and initiatives.
- Oversee health and safety, including maintaining a written emergency evacuation plan, practising it at least annually with all employees, and recording completion in Rivo.
Qualifications

- Local language and English.
- Passion for and interest in fashion, with a luxury ethos.
- Digital awareness and interest, with the ability to navigate social media and e-commerce sites comfortably.
- Awareness of local employment and retail legislation.
- Flexibility to work as required to meet store needs.
- Experience with a luxury brand or in a luxury service and selling environment.
- Retail management experience appropriate to the role, assessed based on the size and complexity of previous roles, including sales turnover and volume and the number and types of roles previously managed.
