Burberry Store Manager position in Melbourne, Australia. Lead luxury retail operations, manage teams, and drive commercial excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to set and inspire the store team towards excellence and best-in-class standards
- Own the employee experience by driving satisfaction, elevating team behaviours and establishing a learning culture
- Own the customer experience through exceptional service delivery and long-term relationship cultivation
- Establish a constant focus on brand engagement, knowledge and passion across the store team
- Lead, inspire and manage a high-performing store team through recruitment, development, and succession planning
- Monitor, coach and provide feedback to the team to consistently deliver excellent customer experience
- Maintain a luxury environment through excellent execution and maintenance of visual merchandising guidelines
- Drive product advocacy by maintaining expert product knowledge and ensuring the team shares the same standard
- Optimise sales performance through understanding sales metrics, inventory management and conversion opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all corporate standards, policies, health and safety protocols and corporate initiatives
- Build familiarity with the local external environment including customers, competitors and talent acquisition
- Lead a written emergency evacuation plan, ensuring it is practiced annually and documented
Qualifications

- Retail management experience appropriate to the role, with demonstrated success in stores of comparable size and complexity
- Experience in a luxury brand or luxury service and selling environment
- Fluency in local language plus English

- Digital awareness with strong social media and e-commerce navigation skills
- Awareness of local employment and retail legislation

Experience
Retail management experience at a level appropriate to the scope and complexity of previous roles, assessed on sales turnover and volume, and the number and range of roles previously managed. Proven experience in a luxury brand or luxury service and selling environment required.
