Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the boutique team to deliver exemplary customer service and maintain Burberry’s brand standards across store operations.
  • Own the employee experience: recruit, coach, develop and motivate staff to elevate team behaviours and talent pipelines.
  • Drive commercial performance and growth through sales leadership, conversion optimisation and disciplined execution of merchandising and visual standards.
  • Manage key operational disciplines including stock control and shrinkage prevention, store opening/closing procedures and compliance with local retail and employment legislation.
  • Deliver outstanding customer experience and loyalty through effective clienteling, data capture and integration with e‑commerce and digital initiatives.
  • Set and monitor performance targets and KPIs (sales & conversion, experience & data capture, shrinkage) and implement action plans to close gaps.
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders on local store marketing, community engagement and in‑store events to maximise brand impact.
  • Ensure the store meets Burberry visual merchandising and presentation standards at all times.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable retail management experience within a luxury or premium brand or high‑end service environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop and retain talent; evidence of managing teams with measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Fluency in the local language and professional working proficiency in English.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing sales turnover, conversion metrics and stock control.
  • Familiarity with local employment and retail legislation and flexible availability to meet store operating needs.

Experience

Education

High school diploma or vocational qualification required; tertiary education in business, retail management or fashion preferred.
