Role & Responsibilities
- Provide visible, inspirational leadership on the shop floor and across all store functions, acting as a brand ambassador for Burberry.
- Own the employee experience: recruit, develop, coach and retain a high-performing store team while embedding Burberry behaviours and a learning culture.
- Own the customer experience by driving exceptional service standards, long-term client relationships and high conversion rates.
- Drive commercial performance through inventory optimisation, sales growth, conversion, and disciplined execution of merchandising and pricing strategies.
- Ensure operational excellence and compliance with corporate standards, local employment and health & safety legislation; maintain emergency evacuation plans and record compliance on Rivo.
- Sustain the luxury store environment by enforcing Visual Merchandising guidelines and leveraging digital assets to enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable retail management experience in a luxury brand or high-end service environment; scope and metrics (sales turnover, team size) will be assessed relative to store complexity.
- Local language plus fluency in English.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving sales and productivity targets.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop and motivate teams; experience with succession planning and internal mobility.
- Comfortable with digital channels, social media and e‑commerce concepts; able to leverage digital assets to drive customer experience.
- Flexible availability to meet store needs and accurate awareness of local retail and employment legislation.

Experience
Significant retail management experience within a luxury or premium retail environment, with responsibility for commercial targets, team leadership and store operations. Previous roles should demonstrate measurable achievements in sales turnover, conversion and people management.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience in luxury retail will be considered.
