Luxury fashion retailer in Roermond seeks a Stockroom Manager to oversee back‑of‑house inventory and logistics.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all back‑of‑house operations including receiving, unpacking, checking and secure storage of incoming merchandise.
- Manage inventory control processes: cycle counts, stock reconciliation, shrinkage prevention and record accuracy.
- Coordinate stock replenishment to the sales floor and support merchandising team to maintain visual and product standards.
- Supervise, coach and schedule stockroom staff; ensure compliance with health, safety and loss‑prevention procedures.
- Liaise with logistics partners, central distribution and store management to optimise inbound/outbound flows and delivery accuracy.
- Implement and maintain stockroom layout, documentation and workflow to maximise efficiency and product protection.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (process, housekeeping, packaging) and report key metrics to store or district leadership.
- Enforce brand safeguarding policies for high‑value goods, including secure handling, documentation and restricted access.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail stockroom, warehouse or back‑of‑house operations—preferably within fashion or luxury retail.
- Demonstrable knowledge of inventory control practices and loss‑prevention methodologies.
- Strong organisational aptitude with a track record of managing inbound logistics and stock replenishment cycles.
- Ability to lead and develop small teams, manage rotas and maintain operational discipline.
- Familiarity with retail health & safety requirements and secure handling procedures for premium merchandise.
- Professional demeanour, attention to detail and ability to work under the pace of a busy retail environment.

Experience
Typically 3+ years in retail or warehouse operations with a minimum of 1–2 years supervising staff; prior exposure to fashion or luxury product handling is strongly preferred.
Education
Secondary education or vocational qualification; certifications in logistics, supply chain or retail operations are advantageous but not mandatory.
