The Operations Associate supports Burberry’s store back-of-house operations, managing inventory, stock retrieval, product quality, equipment, after-sales support, and administrative tasks. The expected base salary is $18.00–$19.00 per hour at the commencement of employment; the total compensation package may also include commission, discretionary bonuses, incentives, and company-sponsored benefit programs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control, including receiving and handling stock orders from the hub or warehouse, verifying product accuracy, and reporting discrepancies.
- Retrieve stock promptly to support the sales team, including omnichannel orders and stock pullbacks.
- Maintain an orderly back of house in compliance with Retail Operations and Standards.
- Conduct ongoing quality control of products and report issues to the store lead.
- Support after-sales services, including alterations, repairs, and personalisation, to enhance the client experience.
- Ensure stockroom equipment is operational and raise concerns immediately through Ask services.
- Handle ad hoc administration, including answering telephone calls, liaising with customer service, placing stationery and supermarket orders, and performing general administrative tasks.
- Respond to store management requests to support events, visual merchandising, stocktaking, and other duties.
Qualifications
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in core Microsoft software.
- Previous experience with SAP is desirable.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to work in a busy team environment.
