Leading luxury beauty brand in Paris seeks a Social Art Director to lead social visual strategy and creative production across Instagram and TikTok.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the social visual language and art direction across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other digital channels to reflect the brand’s luxury positioning.
- Lead creative ideation and translate brand strategy into engaging stills, short-form video and motion content tailored for platform-specific consumption.
- Collaborate with social strategists, content producers, photographers, videographers, stylists and retouchers to deliver end-to-end creative shoots and post-production.
- Produce concise creative briefs, moodboards and shot lists; oversee asset delivery, retouching notes and final QC to ensure brand consistency and technical excellence.
- Manage multiple simultaneous campaigns and production schedules, ensuring creative output meets deadlines and platform KPIs.
- Direct in-house designers and freelance creatives; provide mentorship, feedback and creative direction to elevate the team’s craft.
- Partner with product, marketing and e‑commerce teams to ensure visual strategies support launches, hero product storytelling and conversion objectives.
- Monitor trends in beauty, culture and social platforms to anticipate creative opportunities and adapt the brand’s visual approach.
Qualifications
- Senior-level art direction experience (typically 5+ years), with a significant track record producing social-first campaigns for beauty, cosmetics or luxury lifestyle brands.
- A strong, demonstrable portfolio of social content—still imagery and motion—showing concept-to-execution leadership and measurable campaign outcomes.
- Fluency in social content formats and platform best practices, particularly short-form vertical video and motion storytelling.
- Proven experience briefing and directing photo and video productions, plus post‑production workflows including retouching and color grading.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate strategy into creative direction and influence cross-functional partners.

Typically 5+ years of professional art direction with proven leadership on social and digital campaigns; demonstrable experience in beauty or luxury brands and experience managing production workflows and creative teams.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, Fine Arts or equivalent professional experience.
