Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain high-level service and solution architecture for the SIAM function, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and ITIL best practices.
  • Provide architectural oversight for service management capabilities, focusing on standardisation, automation, and interoperability.
  • Research, evaluate, and introduce emerging technologies to enhance SIAM capabilities and drive automation.
  • Ensure architectural integrity of all SIAM-related solutions from concept to delivery and optimisation.
  • Maintain and update architectural artefacts such as blueprints, standards, and patterns.
  • Define architecture for SIAM tooling, ensuring integration, scalability, and support for service delivery lifecycle.
  • Define data architecture for service management with emphasis on CMDB centricity.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and partners to ensure architectural alignment and adoption.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional business needs.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in IT architecture with a focus on service management and integration within a SIAM environment.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and architectural implications.
  • Proven ability to define and govern architectural standards across complex ecosystems.
  • Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.

Skills

Familiarity with CMDB design, data modelling, and service mapping. Ability to understand complex technical processes and create pragmatic solutions. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Strategic thinking with the ability to balance long-term vision and practical implementation.

Experience

Extensive experience in IT architecture, particularly in service management, integration, and tooling within a SIAM or multi-supplier environment.
