Burberry seeks a Service Lead in White Plains, NY to supervise the sales floor, coach associates and deliver exceptional client experiences. $28–$28.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate sales associates to deliver high-value, consistent client experiences on the selling floor, ensuring the Burberry Experience is maintained.
- Coach associates in real time and after transactions to improve selling skills, close sales and meet KPIs.
- Manage customer flow and service standards to ensure no client is left unattended; set pace and example for the team.
- Partner with store management and specialists (stock, operations, product) to drive floor collaboration and operational excellence.
- Deliver and reinforce Burberry Experience training through morning and weekly meetings, role-play and formal development plans.
- Develop and retain talent via monthly development plans, performance feedback and annual reviews.
- Resolve complex customer issues and escalate when necessary.
- In absence of store management, process post-void transactions, authorise promotional discounts and employee sales.
- Drive the in-store digital experience, using mobile devices and digital resources to serve clients when face-to-face contact is not possible.
- Support opening and closing procedures, including securing premises, merchandise and POS alarming.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures; authorised to process post-voids and discounts when required.
- Comfortable with Apple mobile devices and digital sales tools.
- 1–2 years of supervisory or first-line management experience in retail sales.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop front-line retail teams to improve KPIs and customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills; ability to make operational decisions in the absence of senior management.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and peak trading periods.
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales with a proven record of coaching teams, closing sales and improving retail KPIs.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or tertiary qualification in retail, business or hospitality is advantageous.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 28 to USD 28.50 per hour.
