Burberry is hiring a Service Lead in Vancouver (Dunsmuir Street) to supervise the sales floor and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise, assist and motivate the sales team to consistently deliver the Burberry Experience on the selling floor and act as quality-control for customer interactions.
- Provide real-time, in‑moment coaching and structured feedback to improve selling skills and close sales to meet KPIs and sales targets.
- Manage customer flow to optimise service levels and ensure no client is left unattended; lead by example by delivering the Burberry Experience when required.
- Partner with store management to set performance expectations, deliver monthly Burberry Experience Development Plans and participate in annual reviews.
- Drive collaboration between sales associates, specialists, stock and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Own Burberry Experience training initiatives in-store, using daily briefings, role-play and coaching to reinforce standards and behaviours.
- Resolve escalated or complex customer issues and escalate to management when necessary.
- In absence of store management, process post-void transactions, authorise promotional discounts and employee sales following company policy.
- Promote and use digital resources to support clienteling and remote communication when face-to-face contact is not possible.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including securing the store, POS routines and alarm protocols.
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency with POS systems and point-of-sale procedures.
- Comfortable and confident using Apple mobile devices and digital selling tools.
- Minimum 1–2 years supervisory or management experience in retail sales with demonstrable people‑management and coaching capability.
- Strong communication skills, customer focus and proven ability to influence performance and develop talent.
- Working knowledge of retail KPIs and the ability to use performance data to drive improvements.

Experience
1–2 years of prior supervisory or managerial experience in retail sales, with demonstrable success coaching teams and achieving sales KPIs.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary study in business, retail management or hospitality is advantageous.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 26 to CAD 28 per hour.
