Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate the sales team on the selling floor to ensure consistent delivery of the Burberry Experience and attainment of sales goals and KPIs.
- Provide real-time, in‑moment coaching and formal feedback to develop associates’ selling skills and close sales.
- Manage customer flow and service standards so every client receives attentive, high-value engagement.
- Partner with store management and cross‑functional colleagues (specialists, stock and operations) to optimise floor performance and store execution.
- Own Burberry Experience training in the store: use morning and weekly meetings, role‑play and development plans to reinforce standards.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and escalate to management when required.
- Authorise post‑void transactions, promotional discounts and employee sales in the absence of store management.
- Drive the in‑store digital experience and use digital resources to service clients remotely when needed.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including POS, security and alarm protocols.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of POS systems and POS procedures.
- Comfortable and experienced with Apple mobile devices and other digital tools used in retail operations.
- 1–2 years of prior supervisory or management experience in retail sales.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop sales associates through formal and ad‑hoc feedback.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret retail KPIs and drive performance improvement.
- Demonstrated capability to manage difficult customer situations with diplomacy and escalate appropriately.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in a retail sales environment, with demonstrated success coaching teams and delivering sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or vocational training in retail, fashion or business is desirable.
