Service Lead at Burberry in Los Angeles—supervise sales teams and drive the luxury retail experience. USD $27–$29/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise, assist, and motivate sales associates to consistently deliver high-value experiences on the selling floor and ensure every customer interaction is memorable
- Partner with associates to improve selling skills and close rates in order to achieve sales goals and KPIs
- Lead a customer-facing, service-oriented team and coach staff to ensure all clients receive the full Burberry Experience aligned with brand strategies
- Manage customer flow to ensure optimal service delivery and prevent clients from being left unattended
- Drive collaboration between sales associates, specialists, stock associates, and operations teams on the selling floor
- Provide in-the-moment and post-transaction coaching to associates, discussing successes and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and retain talented employees through recognition, performance-based rewards, monthly development plans, and annual reviews
- Lead by example by delivering the Burberry Experience to customers when necessary
- Partner with store management to design and deliver Burberry Experience training through morning and weekly meetings, role-play sessions, and peer coaching
- Deliver formal performance feedback in partnership with store management via monthly Burberry Experience Development Plans
- Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when necessary
- Authorize transactions, promotional discounts, and employee sales in the absence of store management
- Drive the digital experience in-store using digital resources to communicate with staff and customers
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of business metrics and communicate needs and ideas to drive performance
- Maintain strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including securing merchandise, alarming systems, and POS reconciliation
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of POS systems
- Previous experience with Apple mobile devices and digital tools
- 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales
