Burberry Service Lead position in Los Angeles, California. Supervise sales team, drive customer experience and achieve sales goals. Base salary $27–$29/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise, assist and motivate sales associates to deliver high-value experiences on the selling floor, acting as a quality-control supervisor to ensure every customer interaction is memorable
- Partner with associates to enhance selling skills and close sales to achieve sales goals and KPIs
- Lead a high-performing, customer-facing, service-oriented team, coaching and providing feedback to ensure the full Burberry Experience is delivered consistently
- Manage customer flow to ensure optimal service delivery and that no client is left unattended, setting the pace and standard for excellence
- Drive partnership on the selling floor among sales associates, specialists, stock associates and operations team
- Provide in-the-moment coaching and post-transaction feedback, discussing successes and opportunities with associates
- Develop and retain talented employees through recognition, rewards, monthly development plans and annual performance reviews
- Lead by example by delivering the Burberry Experience to customers when necessary
- Partner with General Manager, Store Manager and Sales & Planning to own Burberry Experience training, using morning and weekly meetings to reinforce key elements through role-play and coaching
- Deliver formal performance feedback through monthly Burberry Experience Development Plans in partnership with store management
- Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when necessary
- Process post-void transactions, authorize promotional discounts and employee sales in the absence of store management
- Drive digital experience in-store and use digital resources to communicate when face-to-face interaction is not possible
- Maintain thorough understanding of business operations and effectively communicate ideas to advance business performance
- Ensure consistent adherence to company policies, procedures and operational guidelines
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including securing merchandise, operating security systems and managing POS procedures
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of POS systems
- Previous experience with Apple mobile devices and comfort with digital tools
- 1–2 years of previous supervisory or management experience in retail sales
