Burberry Service Lead position in Edina, Minnesota. Lead retail team, manage customer experiences, and drive sales performance at Southdale Center.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate sales associates to deliver high-value experiences on the selling floor and act as a quality control supervisor for all customer interactions
- Partner with associates to improve selling skills and close sales in order to achieve sales goals and key performance indicators
- Lead a high-performing, customer-facing, service-oriented team, providing coaching and feedback to ensure all customers receive the full Burberry Experience in line with brand strategies
- Manage customer flow to ensure optimal service delivery and that no client is left unattended; set the pace and standard for excellent service
- Drive partnership and collaboration on the selling floor between sales associates, specialists, stock associates, and operations team members
- Provide in-the-moment and post-transaction coaching to associates, discussing successes and opportunities and ensuring proper follow-through on actions
- Develop and retain talented employees through recognition, reward, and structured development plans; conduct monthly evaluations and annual performance reviews
- Lead by example by delivering the Burberry Experience to customers when necessary
- Partner with General Manager, Store Manager, and Sales & Presentation team to own Burberry Experience training; use morning and weekly meetings to reinforce key elements through role-play and problem-solving
- Deliver formal performance feedback in partnership with store management through monthly Burberry Experience Development Plans
- Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when necessary
- Authorize post-void transactions, promotional discounts, and employee sales in the absence of store management
- Drive the digital experience in-store and use digital resources to communicate when face-to-face interaction is not possible
- Maintain thorough understanding of company policies and procedures, consistently following and enforcing guidelines
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including securing doors, windows, and merchandise, alarming the store, and completing POS procedures
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of POS systems
- Previous experience with Apple mobile devices and comfort with digital tools
- 1–2 years of previous supervisory or management experience in retail sales
- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities with demonstrated success in developing team members
- Excellent customer service skills and commitment to delivering premium brand experiences

1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales, with a demonstrated track record of leading and developing sales teams.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; further retail management or leadership training preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 23 to USD 25 per hour.
