Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate sales associates to deliver high-value customer experiences on the selling floor, acting as a quality control authority to ensure every client interaction is memorable and aligned with brand standards
- Coach sales associates in real-time and post-transaction to improve selling skills, close rates, and achievement of sales goals and key performance indicators
- Lead a high-performing, customer-facing, service-oriented team by setting the pace and standard for excellence; provide constructive feedback and development opportunities
- Manage customer flow to ensure optimal service delivery and that no client is left unattended; lead by example by delivering the Burberry Experience when necessary
- Foster partnership and collaboration between sales associates, product specialists, stock associates, and operations team to drive cohesive store performance
- Develop and retain talented employees through recognition, monthly development planning, and annual performance reviews
- Partner with store management and merchandising teams to drive Burberry Experience training through morning meetings, weekly huddles, role-play, and coaching on best practices
- Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when appropriate; process post-void transactions, authorize promotional discounts, and manage employee sales in the absence of store management
- Drive digital experience integration in-store and use digital resources to communicate and engage customers; maintain proficiency with POS systems and Apple mobile devices
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures including securing merchandise, alarming systems, and executing POS procedures
- Maintain thorough understanding of company policies and procedures; consistently enforce operational guidelines and communicate business insights to leadership
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales
- Advanced proficiency with POS systems
- Experience with Apple mobile devices and digital retail tools
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of luxury retail standards and brand experience delivery
