Burberry seeks a Service Lead in Charlotte, NC to supervise the sales floor, coach associates and deliver the Burberry Experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate the sales team on the selling floor to ensure consistently exceptional client experiences and attainment of sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide real-time coaching and post-transaction feedback to improve selling skills and close sales; use role-play and meetings to reinforce the Burberry Experience.
- Manage customer flow, allocate service resources and ensure no client is left unattended; model service standards by leading from the floor when required.
- Partner with store management to set goals, deliver formal performance feedback, and develop monthly Burberry Experience Development Plans for associates.
- Resolve complex customer issues and escalate to management when necessary; in management absence, perform post-void processing, authorise promotional discounts and employee sales.
- Drive the in-store digital experience by using Apple devices and other digital resources to communicate and transact when face-to-face engagement is not possible.
- Collaborate with specialists, stock and operations teams to optimise the selling environment and enforce company policies, opening/closing and POS procedures.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years supervisory or management experience in retail sales.
- Advanced knowledge of POS system and transaction procedures.
- Comfortable and experienced with Apple mobile devices and in-store digital tools.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop retail associates to improve performance and KPIs.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and customer-service orientation; ability to manage competing priorities on the sales floor.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a retail sales environment, with demonstrated success in coaching teams, driving KPIs and managing the customer experience on a busy sales floor.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework in business, retail management, or fashion is preferred but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 20 to USD 21.50 per hour.
