Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate sales associates to deliver high-value customer experiences on the selling floor; act as quality control to ensure every customer interaction is memorable
  • Partner with associates to improve selling skills and close sales to achieve sales goals and KPIs
  • Lead a high-performing, customer-facing, service-oriented team with in-the-moment coaching and post-transaction feedback
  • Manage customer flow to ensure optimal service standards and prevent clients from being left unattended
  • Drive partnership and collaboration among sales associates, specialists, stock associates, and operations team
  • Develop and retain talented employees through recognition, performance reward, monthly development plans, and annual reviews
  • Lead by example by delivering the Burberry Experience to customers as needed
  • Partner with store management and merchandising to own Burberry Experience training; conduct role-playing sessions and reinforce key elements through morning and weekly meetings
  • Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when necessary
  • In the absence of store management, process post-void transactions, authorize promotional discounts, and manage employee sales
  • Drive digital experience in store and use digital resources to communicate when face-to-face interaction is not possible
  • Maintain thorough understanding of company policies and procedures; consistently follow and enforce operational guidelines
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including securing merchandise, alarming the store, and managing POS systems

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of previous supervisory or management experience in retail sales
  • Advanced knowledge of POS systems
  • Experience with Apple mobile devices and comfort with digital tools
