Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate sales associates to deliver high-value experiences on the selling floor, acting as a quality control supervisor to ensure every customer interaction is memorable and aligned with brand standards
- Coach and provide real-time feedback to team members after each transaction and client interaction, discussing successes and opportunities to drive continuous improvement
- Manage customer flow to ensure optimal service delivery and prevent clients from being left unattended, setting the pace and standard for excellence
- Develop and retain talented employees through recognition, performance rewards, monthly development plans, and annual performance reviews
- Lead by example, delivering the Burberry Experience to customers when necessary and maintaining the highest service standards
- Partner with store management to establish goal expectations and deliver formal performance feedback through monthly Burberry Experience Development Plans
- Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when appropriate
- Process post-void transactions, authorise promotional discounts, and manage employee sales in the absence of store management
- Drive digital experience in store and utilise digital resources to communicate when face-to-face interaction is not possible
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including securing doors, windows, merchandise, and conducting POS procedures
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between sales associates, specialists, stock associates, and operations team
- Communicate effectively with store leadership (GM, SM, S&P) regarding Burberry Experience training and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of POS systems
- Previous experience with Apple mobile devices and demonstrated comfort with digital tools
- 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail sales
