Burberry seeks Senior Manager, Technology Transformation in London. Lead IT-wide transformation, change management, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive continuous transformation across IT, embedding new ways of working and capabilities sustained over time
- Evolve the Technology Forward roadmap to maintain alignment with strategic business and technology objectives
- Define and maintain transformation scorecard establishing measurable indicators of organizational effectiveness, capability evolution, adoption, and strategic progress
- Identify and coordinate opportunities to improve cross-functional ways of working, operational effectiveness, and organizational alignment across technology and business functions
- Provide leadership with transformation insights and organizational effectiveness reporting to support informed decision-making
- Work with Portfolio Management Office, SIAM, and delivery teams to support adoption and engagement activities
- Lead IT communications and engagement, ensuring clear narratives aligned to Burberry Forward across the organization
- Own IT intranet and knowledge management experience, ensuring information, policies, standards, and processes remain current and accessible
- Partner with content owners to maintain quality, establish review cycles, and drive continuous improvement in information discoverability
- Own IT-wide change management for transformation initiatives, including adoption measures and behavioral change tracking
- Define, track, and report strategic non-financial transformation outcomes including organizational effectiveness and operational maturity
- Drive continuous improvement of transformation and engagement processes to remain lightweight and minimally disruptive
Qualifications
- Experience defining and measuring strategic transformation outcomes and organizational maturity indicators within a technology organization
- Experience coordinating transformation activities across multiple teams without direct ownership
- Strong change management capability with ability to define and embed new ways of working
- Excellent communication and engagement skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working with senior leadership (CIO/VP level) to shape consistent transformation messaging
- Strong stakeholder management across IT and business functions
- Understanding of IT operating models and practical challenges of embedding new ways of working in complex delivery environments
- Ability to balance strategic transformation priorities with minimizing disruption and administrative overhead
Skills
Experience
Demonstrated experience coordinating organization-wide transformation initiatives, defining strategic transformation outcomes, and managing change across multiple teams. Prior experience working with senior technology leadership (CIO/VP level) and operating in complex IT environments required. Experience in Retail, Luxury, or Consumer goods industries is beneficial.
