Role & Responsibilities
- Define and lead the customer insights and analytics strategy to inform commercial, CRM and product decisions across channels.
- Design measurement frameworks and KPIs (CLTV, retention, acquisition efficiency, cohort analysis) to assess marketing and CRM performance.
- Develop and maintain robust customer segmentation, propensity models and lifetime value models to prioritise acquisition and retention efforts.
- Translate data into compelling, actionable recommendations and executive-ready presentations for senior stakeholders (marketing, retail, merchandising, e-commerce).
- Build and govern dashboards and reporting (dashboards, scorecards) to operationalise insights for local markets and store teams.
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts and data scientists; recruit, set objectives and drive professional development.
- Oversee data integrations, vendor relationships and analytics architecture (CDP, DWH/Cloud, analytics tools) in collaboration with IT and CRM.
- Ensure analytics programmes comply with data governance, privacy and legal requirements (GDPR) and maintain high data quality standards.
- Lead experimentation and attribution approaches (A/B testing, incrementality) to continuously optimise campaigns and customer journeys.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Marketing Analytics or a related quantitative discipline; business degree with substantial analytics experience acceptable.
- Proven leadership experience managing analytics teams and delivering commercial impact in retail, luxury goods or premium consumer sectors.
- Demonstrable track record building customer segmentation, CLTV and predictive models that influenced CRM and marketing strategy.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience partnering with marketing, CRM, e-commerce and retail operations to drive measurable outcomes.
- Deep understanding of data governance, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and best practices for customer data handling.

Experience
Typically 7–10+ years in customer analytics, business intelligence or data science with at least 3 years in a people-management role; experience within luxury retail, fashion or premium consumer brands is highly preferred.
Education
Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Marketing Analytics or a related field preferred; bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience acceptable.
