Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Manager in delivering shared-service activities, including GRIR, intercompany clearing, budgeting, forecasting, and project support.
  • Manage end-to-end inventory accounting processes, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with Commercial Finance, Group Finance, Central Planning, IT, and Audit teams to ensure effective service delivery and support change initiatives.
  • Respond to a high volume of ad-hoc queries, assessing priorities and resolving issues with process owners.
  • Contribute to the design, documentation, and implementation of improved inventory processes, applying best-practice accounting concepts.
  • Support RTR and cross-functional teams during system enhancements or process developments, including occasional weekend or public-holiday work during half-year and year-end periods.

Qualifications

  • Recognized professional accounting qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA).

Skills

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Solid analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Understanding of financial systems; SAP experience is advantageous. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality outputs. Collaborative mindset with a commitment to process improvement and strong internal controls.

Experience

Experience in inventory accounting and financial analysis within a luxury fashion or retail environment is preferred.

Education

Recognized professional accounting qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA).
