Burberry is hiring a Senior Client Advisor in Chongqing, China — lead luxury sales, clienteling and in‑store service for the brand.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive and exceed individual sales targets through proactive client acquisition, retention and personalised clienteling.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high‑value and prospective clients, managing CRM records and follow‑up activity to maximise lifetime value.
  • Deliver a signature luxury service experience on the sales floor, ensuring product knowledge, styling advice and after‑sales care meet brand standards.
  • Coach and mentor junior sales colleagues, modelling selling behaviours, visual standards and operational excellence.
  • Support merchandising and stock management activities including replenishment, inventory accuracy and loss prevention.
  • Contribute to store events and VIP appointments, liaising with store management and cross‑functional teams to execute client outreach initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with brand policies, point‑of‑sale procedures and luxury retail operational standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in luxury retail sales with demonstrable results in client development and high‑value transactions.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience using clienteling/CRM tools to manage a portfolio of clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with an international clientele.
  • Professional presentation and thorough product knowledge of luxury fashion and accessories.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
